Simple Design and Testing Conference 2010 in India

I’m planning the Simple Design and Testing Conference (SDTConf) for the first time in India around end of June.

SDTConf is:

  • All Practitioner conference (No Jokers giving lectures)
  • All Open Space (discussions and lots of hands-on workshops)
  • Invitation Only Conference
  • I’ve organized this conference in the US for the last 4 years.

Good to see such kind of conference being held in India.

I don't seem to be fitting in the category of practitioner.
    Can I attend the conference?

Ideally, I would like people (like myself) who are interested (but not practicing) to be able to attend the conference, to learn a thing or 2.

    Your thoughts?

Kalpesh, when you say you are not a practitioner what do you mean?

I mean, I don't have a position paper (as the wiki says) to be able to present on some topic. Other than that,I am willing to attend and registering to be there.

    Thanks.

*One could write a Position Paper by trying to answer the following
    questions:*

    – What's your experience with Designing and Testing Software?
    – While applying Simple Design and Testing practices on your project,
    what challenges have/are you facing?
    – What lessons have you learned with regards to designing and testing
    software systems?
    – What do you plan to learn /explore at this conference?
    – How do you plan to contribute?

    * Note that the above questions are just pointers, you don't have to answer
    each one point by point.

If you feel you won't/don't want to answer some simple questions like this,
then may be this conference is not for you.

I really appreciate people who can distill one of their many learning into a
position paper. For example, a good position papers could be “Try to
knockout before you consider to mock-out”. Very insightful and can have good
examples to prove the stand. Would love to see more thought provoking
    position papers like this.
