”Take the stairs instead of the escalator or elevator and feel better” is something we often hear or read in the Sunday papers. Few people actually follow that advice. Can we get more people to take the stairs over the escalator by making it fun to do? See the results here:

That is Sweden. The encouragement comes from Govt as well.
I saw a documentary online yesterday on a lady walking with 2 kids & another guy riding bike to work with a blazer on him in Denmark. The govt had made it expensive to buy a car.
For country like ours, we have been very conservative in energy consumption.
I like the idea though.
What about a switch which smiles/frowns if the daily usage of electricity is in check/exceeds the usage?
