XPLite & ScrumBud

Sunday, June 15th, 2008

At XP 2008, during a panel on “There’s no such thing as Best Practice”, Joseph Pelrine talked about new emerging Agile methodologies called “XPLite” and “ScrumBud”. (heavily influenced by MillerLite and BudWeiser beer) Accordingly to him, there are lot of teams who claim they are Agile because they follow one of the most important Agile principles i.e. “Inspect and Adapt”. They read the book (inspect) and then adapt it by taking and applying what they think is most convenient to do.
